Network Rail, on behalf of the rail industry, has been partnered with Samaritans since 2010 and for the first time the partnership has been recognised as the third most admired Corporate-Non-Government Organisation (NGO) partnership in the country, at the C&E Advisory’s 10th Annual Corporate-NGO Partnership Barometer.
This year the Barometer focus was on ‘Sign-posting the next 10 years’ and was compiled using responses to a confidential online survey of 101 leading UK-based companies and NGOs engaged in corporate-NGO partnerships, which rated the Network Rail and Samaritans in the top three.
Manny Amadi, Chief Executive at C&E Advisory, said: “It seems undeniable that the overall shift towards deeper, more impactful partnerships – and/or the desire to emulate others in this regard – is set to continue”.
