Small Talk Saves Lives gateline wraps installed

02/12/21

Phase 5 of Samaritans’ Small Talk Saves Lives campaign, in partnership with Network Rail, British Transport Police and the wider rail industry, can now be seen across the gatelines at High Wycombe station.

Chiltern Branch of Samaritans were able to secure funding from the Local Authority for the design and installation of the wraps, highlighting to rail users that they already know how to start a conversation which could save a life. The gateline wrap is currently the only one in place across the rail network.

Dave Brown, Samaritans Regional Development Lead for NW&C said ‘This is a really great opportunity for Samaritans and the rail industry to promote this campaign in an innovative and eye-catching way. Thanks to Chiltern Railways for donating their gateline for such an important message’.

We hope to install gateline wraps at other locations across North West & Central in the coming months to further promote an intervention culture on the rail network. For more information on Small Talk Saves Lives, visit Samaritans.org/smalltalksaveslives.
