On 24 July, Samaritans held a Big Listen event at Waterloo station to raise awareness of services and support they offer, as well as raising funds for their local branch.
The aim of Big Listen is to demonstrate the importance of listening and how it can be the first step to saving a life.
Samaritans volunteers were present on the concourse between 7am and 7pm, and Suicide Prevention Programme Manager, Ian Stevens, popped down to support the ongoing work between Samaritans and the rail industry.
